Thanks to all who visited, linked, and bookmarked Loving Christmas in 2007! I appreciate you all, and hope that you enjoyed an inspirational holiday season-one that brought your family closer together, created good memories and joined your heart more closely to the Savior. Some years I include more new articles than others, but every year I always hope that this page has somehow sparked a little more light and creativity in your festive celebrations of Christmas... easily the most beautiful time of the year. Be sure to include this page in your bookmarks to find your way here again for next years holiday preparations. |

from Tyra in Vaxholm, Sweden comes a beautiful variation on a traditional Advent wreath: "This year I made a non traditional Advent candle holder with an Indian twist, 'Kerala style' with lush green ‘hills’, added an elephant, a lime fruit, spices and cinnamon sticks." In Sweden there are many Christmas customs that make the holiday especially elegant and bright, and many of them utilize the warmth of candlelight and the clear primary colors of Scandinavian tradition.
