Surprise Calendars
In 2009 I noticed (and bought) a set of three Christmas houses with little doors for hiding a note, pieces of candy, or a small prize, one for each day before Christmas. They were available at Costco.
They make a delightful decor addition and our family has enjoyed them through the years.
Attractive wooden calendars have been available at Target also. I think these would be ideal to tuck in small Jesse ornaments for a miniature tree.
